Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software applications and IT infrastructure projects.
- Ensure strict compliance with state and federal data privacy and security regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Conduct thorough system analysis to identify inefficiencies and recommend innovative technical solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Provide expert troubleshooting and technical support for mission-critical systems to minimize downtime.
- Mentor junior staff members and conduct technical training sessions to foster a culture of excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in information technology systems analysis and development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C# and database management systems (SQL).
- Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced government environment.
- Valid California driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory.
