Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive federal policy strategies aligned with Georgia's security priorities
- Analyze complex legislative proposals and regulatory impacts on state/local government operations
- Coordinate interagency initiatives between federal, Georgia state, and local authorities
- Conduct advanced economic and demographic impact assessments for federal programs
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with Georgia municipal leaders and community organizations
- Prepare detailed policy briefings for Congressional committees and federal oversight bodies
- Manage cross-functional teams executing federal compliance initiatives across Georgia
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 5 years federal policy analysis experience with state/local government interface
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Expertise in Georgia state legislative processes and regulatory frameworks
- Proficiency in federal grant administration and compliance reporting
- Advanced data analytics skills with SAS/R/Python and policy modeling software
- Exceptional written/verbal communication for high-stakes federal presentations
