Responsibilities
- Analyze federal programs and policies to ensure compliance with DHS regulations and objectives
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and security protocols
- Prepare comprehensive reports and briefings for senior leadership and congressional stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate emergency response and risk mitigation efforts
- Manage budgets and resources for assigned programs, optimizing allocation and accountability
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and recommend evidence-based improvements
- Represent the department at interagency meetings and public forums
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in federal program management or policy analysis
- Active U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DHS security clearance
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and federal budget systems
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing executive documents
- Strong project management credentials (PMP certification desirable)
