Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure federal information systems in compliance with NIST and FedRAMP standards.
- Lead architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and analysts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software solutions.
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing to protect sensitive government data.
- Prepare and present technical documentation and compliance reports to senior leadership.
- Manage project lifecycles from initiation through deployment in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal systems engineering or IT support.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) specifically within a government context.
- Understanding of federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and security compliance frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Clearance eligibility or willingness to undergo a government background investigation.
