Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning research to identify and validate disruptive trends across AI, biotechnology, quantum computing, and sustainable energy sectors
- Develop and deploy strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning and backcasting methodologies
- Produce executive-ready trend briefings and future-state roadmaps with quantified impact assessments
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to integrate future insights into product development and business strategy
- Build and maintain a global network of domain experts, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at premier future-focused conferences
- Establish KPIs for tracking emerging technology adoption curves and societal behavioral shifts
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent with 8+ years applied experience
- Proven track record of publishing influential research on emerging technologies and societal transformation
- Expertise in foresight methodologies including Delphi studies, cross-impact matrices, and technology roadmapping
- Deep technical understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, synthetic biology, quantum systems)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with demonstrated experience translating complex futures into actionable insights
- Experience advising executive leadership on strategic implications of long-term trend analysis
- Portfolio of successful future strategy implementations with measurable business impact
- Professional certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists) preferred
