Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies with 2026 commercial viability
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Innovation Roadmap with quarterly strategic pivots
- Design speculative prototypes using AR/VR, quantum simulators, and AI-driven design tools
- Present findings to C-suite executives and external stakeholders through compelling data visualizations
- Manage a $5M R&D portfolio with ROI-driven resource allocation
- Publish thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals and industry forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis using Delphi methods
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 technologies commercialized in the past decade
- Security clearance (Top Secret) preferred
