Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and market disruptions for 2026-2030 timeframe
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario planning models for C-suite stakeholders
- Direct cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping future-state solutions
- Present innovation roadmaps to executive leadership and investor groups
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with measurable ROI tracking
- Mentor junior futurists in advanced research methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight or technology innovation
- Proven track record of launching successful future-focused products
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and disruptive technology assessment
- Strong data visualization and storytelling skills for executive audiences
- Certification in Foresight methodologies (e.g., AC/FS) preferred
- Experience managing distributed innovation teams across global markets
- Published thought leadership in future technology trends
