Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential (2026-2030)
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for Fortune 500 clients
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops with C-suite executives to co-create future-state roadmaps
- Author high-impact whitepapers and thought leadership on exponential technologies
- Manage cross-functional teams of data scientists, engineers, and domain experts
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of industry pioneers and academic partners
- Present findings to investors and board members to secure strategic funding
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record of developing future-oriented frameworks with measurable outcomes
- Expertise in exponential technologies: AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience delivering executive-level presentations
- Published author or thought leader in technology foresight publications
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives within large organizations
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) highly desirable
