- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to inform strategic decisions
- Establish partnerships with research institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders
- Present visionary insights to executive leadership and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Oversee the creation of future scenario-planning frameworks and risk mitigation strategies
- Drive organizational culture of innovation through workshops and thought leadership initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, futurism, or R&D leadership with proven impact on future roadmap execution
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Social Sciences; PhD or futurist certification preferred
- Expertise in emerging technologies and their societal implications (AI, climate tech, biotech)
- Track record of developing and implementing multi-year innovation strategies with measurable ROI
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario-planning capabilities
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrixed organizations
- Strong executive presence and ability to articulate complex future concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leader in innovation or futurism (speaking engagements, articles, books)
