As part of our elite Strategy & Innovation team, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D labs, and global partners to decode disruption vectors. You'll pioneer methodologies that turn uncertainty into competitive advantage while mentoring next-generation futurists in our Future Forward Academy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026+ Global Foresight Framework, scanning horizon technologies, socio-political shifts, and market discontinuities
- Produce strategic foresight reports and scenario models for executive decision-making, with quarterly deep-dive briefings
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints translating future insights into product roadmaps and venture opportunities
- Establish Horizon Dynamics' thought leadership through keynote speeches, white papers, and industry panel engagements
- Design and implement AI-augmented trend analysis platforms for real-time foresight monitoring
- Mentor junior futurists while curating our proprietary Future Intelligence Database
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI governance, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (e.g., Future Studies Journal, Harvard Business Review)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies: Delphi, Horizon Scanning, and Cross-Impact Matrix
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into executive narratives
- Experience leading high-stakes innovation initiatives with $10M+ budgets
