- Partner with R&D to commercialize breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year market impact timelines
- Present strategic futures to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and executive narratives
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists using agile foresight methodologies
- Secure $2M+ annual innovation budget by proving ROI of future-oriented initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future studies with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related technical field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products or services
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to influence C-suite decisions
- Certification in Futures Research (e.g., from World Futures Studies Federation) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
