Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, geopolitics, and consumer behavior to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026
- Develop and publish annual Future State Reports with evidence-based forecasts and strategic recommendations
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops with executive teams to translate foresight into actionable initiatives
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers for continuous intelligence gathering
- Champion scenario-planning methodologies to prepare the organization for multiple future outcomes
- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to integrate future insights into innovation pipelines
- Present strategic foresight findings to stakeholders through compelling narratives and data visualizations
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into organizational strategy
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and trend extrapolation methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks implemented in real-world contexts
