Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptors through 2026+
- Develop and maintain future scenario models for AI, biotech, climate tech, and digital transformation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights into strategic innovation roadmaps
- Produce executive-ready trend briefings and future-state impact assessments
- Advise leadership on long-term R&D investments and portfolio diversification
- Establish thought leadership through white papers and industry conference presentations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record developing future scenarios for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional systems thinking and data-driven storytelling abilities
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future insights implemented by organizations
