Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global tech trends, scientific breakthroughs, and socio-cultural shifts to forecast 2026+ market opportunities
- Develop comprehensive strategic frameworks for emerging technologies including generative AI, biotech convergence, and spatial computing
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Present visionary insights to C-suite executives, investors, and key industry stakeholders
- Build and lead a dedicated foresight team of researchers and futurists
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global innovation forums
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D pioneers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing futuristic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least three of these domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, neurotech, climate tech, or Web3
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to connect disparate disciplines into coherent narratives
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field preferred
- Demonstrated success in securing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Published author or keynote speaker at global tech conferences (TED, WEF, etc.)
- Portfolio of implemented future-focused initiatives generating measurable impact
