Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable web applications for the UK public sector.
- Collaborate with product managers and user researchers to define requirements that meet government standards and user needs.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality, maintainable codebases.
- Ensure full compliance with UK GDPR, data protection laws, and government security protocols.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience in a commercial or public sector environment.
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and server-side technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of government procurement processes, public sector regulations, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
