Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT systems and networks in accordance with city standards.
- Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for internal departments and external vendors.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local cybersecurity regulations and data privacy laws.
- Lead or participate in major IT modernization projects and system upgrades.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related technical role.
- Experience working in a government or public sector environment is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, server management, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel to various city facilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance upon employment.
