Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex IT systems and software solutions for government agencies.
- Conduct thorough requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Ensure all systems comply with relevant government regulations, security protocols, and data privacy laws.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and compliance officers.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and IT staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Public Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis within the government or public sector.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Java, or Python, and experience with legacy system modernization.
- Proven experience in IT project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearances.
