Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for government systems.
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and subject matter experts.
- Ensure all system implementations comply with federal and state government regulations and security standards.
- Conduct system testing, code reviews, and performance tuning to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior analysts and developers.
- Document system architectures, processes, and technical documentation for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT project management within the public sector or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, or C#.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and IT governance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Must be a US Citizen and possess (or be eligible to obtain) a suitable background check clearance for government work.
