Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and pursue grant opportunities aligned with organizational priorities
- Develop compelling grant proposals, budgets, and reports meeting funder requirements
- Cultivate relationships with program officers and stakeholders
- Manage grant application process from prospecting to submission
- Analyze funding trends and maintain compliance databases
- Collaborate with program teams to translate impact narratives
- Maintain accurate grant records and reporting schedules
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional grant writing experience
- Proven track record securing $500k+ annually in grants
- Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, English, or related field
- Expertise with federal, state, and private foundation applications
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with attention to detail
- Strong project management and organizational abilities
- Familiarity with nonprofit accounting principles
- Proficiency in grant management software (e.g., GrantStation, Instrumentl)
