Responsibilities
- Research, write, and submit high-impact grant proposals to foundations, government agencies, and corporate sponsors
- Develop compelling case statements and budgets aligning with funder priorities
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with program officers and funding partners
- Collaborate with program directors to translate community needs into fundable projects
- Manage grant reporting and compliance for awarded funds
- Analyze funding trends and identify new opportunities
- Mentor junior staff on grant writing best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of grant writing experience with $1M+ secured annually
- Proven success with federal/state grants and foundation proposals
- Expertise in budget development and compliance reporting
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with attention to detail
- Strong research and analytical abilities
- Experience with nonprofit fundraising cycles and CRM systems
- Portfolio of successfully funded grants required
