Responsibilities
- Research, write, and submit compelling grant proposals to foundations, government agencies, and corporate sponsors
- Develop and maintain relationships with funding partners to maximize grant opportunities
- Analyze program metrics and impact data to create persuasive funding narratives
- Manage grant reporting requirements and ensure compliance with funder guidelines
- Collaborate with program teams to identify funding needs and align proposals with organizational goals
- Maintain accurate grant calendars and track submission deadlines
- Conduct prospect research to identify new funding opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Communications, Nonprofit Management, English)
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience with proven track record
- Demonstrated success securing $500K+ in annual grant funding
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in grant databases (e.g., Candid, GrantStation)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives
- Experience with nonprofit financial reporting and compliance
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
