Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of systems analysis, design, and implementation for municipal applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical specifications.
- Oversee vendor management and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met for third-party IT solutions.
- Conduct system performance tuning, security audits, and capacity planning to maintain high availability.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and mentorship to junior analysts and support staff.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture and business processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT systems analysis or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Public Administration, or a related discipline (equivalent experience considered).
- Experience working within a government or public sector environment is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, or .NET development environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel between City facilities.
