Responsibilities
- Lead the full project lifecycle (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, and Closure) for complex IT initiatives.
- Manage cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Report project status, progress, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to executive leadership and state agencies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive project management experience in IT or government sectors.
- Proven experience managing large-scale software development or infrastructure projects.
- PMP or PgMP certification is highly required.
- Strong expertise in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical jargon for diverse audiences.
