Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initiation and strategic planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Manage resources, budgets, and timelines for complex IT infrastructure upgrades and software deployments.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring strict compliance with state and federal regulations and standards.
- Communicate project status, milestones, and challenges to stakeholders and executive leadership through clear reporting.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure team efficiency.
- Partner with vendors and third-party contractors to ensure deliverable quality and manage SLAs effectively.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management methodologies and team performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a preference for experience within the public sector or government.
- PMP, CAPM, or similar certification is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with demonstrated experience in hybrid environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment while maintaining a focus on detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
