Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex enterprise software solutions and systems integration projects.
- Oversee the development lifecycle, ensuring code quality, security compliance, and adherence to agile methodologies.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for mission-critical county applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Manage vendor relationships, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure contract deliverables meet quality standards.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical manuals and architecture diagrams.
- Monitor system performance and proactively implement solutions to optimize efficiency and uptime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT project management.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience with database management systems (SQL) and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage multiple concurrent projects with tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or AWS Solutions Architect are highly desirable.
