Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions for state systems.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications and database systems.
- Ensure all IT systems comply with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and security standards.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for internal stakeholders.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior IT staff to ensure best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in information systems analysis and development.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or .NET.
- Experience with SQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident eligible for security clearance.
