Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex IT systems and networks.
- Oversee software development projects and ensure adherence to Agile methodologies.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical requirements and develop scalable solutions.
- Train and mentor junior staff members, fostering professional growth within the department.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding data privacy and technology usage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT project management or systems analysis.
- Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or Cisco CCNP are highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in public sector or government IT environments is a plus.
