Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end analysis of large-scale government datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Design and implement advanced data visualization dashboards to communicate complex findings to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including policy analysts and IT developers, to integrate data solutions into core systems.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with federal regulations (e.g., FISMA, OMB guidelines).
- Conduct research on emerging data technologies and methodologies to modernize legacy government systems.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and IT staff.
- Prepare detailed reports and briefings for Congress and executive branch stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or systems analysis within a federal or large-scale corporate environment.
- Proven expertise in SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages for data manipulation.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or D3.js.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a suitable background investigation clearance.
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes and federal IT policies.
