Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage complex IT infrastructure solutions, including cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Oversee the migration of legacy systems to modern, scalable architectures.
- Ensure strict compliance with state and federal cybersecurity standards and regulations.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for high-impact system outages and performance issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments to enhance security postures.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven expertise in managing large-scale Linux and Windows server environments.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP), virtualization technologies, and cloud services.
- Experience with government security frameworks (e.g., FISMA, NIST) is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
