Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure solutions including AWS/Azure environments
- Lead disaster recovery planning and business continuity operations for city-wide systems
- Manage network security protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on technology integration projects
- Develop and document IT infrastructure standards and best practices
- Provide Tier-3 support for critical systems and lead incident response
- Ensure compliance with NIST, FISMA, and Texas state security requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure management
- AWS/Azure certification (Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer preferred)
- Expert knowledge of network security protocols and zero-trust architecture
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- Strong background in Windows Server and Linux administration
- Valid Texas driver's license and ability to pass background check
