Responsibilities
- Lead the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Manage cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver complex IT solutions on time and within budget.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication, providing regular updates and managing expectations effectively.
- Drive the adoption of Agile and Waterfall methodologies to optimize project delivery.
- Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- PMP, PgMP, or CAPM certification is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 2 years in a government or public sector environment.
- Strong proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Smartsheet.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-performance teams in a fast-paced environment.
