Role Overview
You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of complex IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. You will act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and ensure strict adherence to federal compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full project lifecycle for Federal IT contracts, ensuring alignment with agency goals and mission objectives.
- Manage cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and subject matter experts, utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and financial forecasting to ensure cost-efficiency.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations (FAR/DFARS), security protocols, and quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate project risks proactively, implementing contingency plans to minimize disruption.
- Facilitate clear communication between government stakeholders and internal teams to drive project success.
- Prepare and present detailed status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries to leadership.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience managing IT projects within the Federal Government sector.
- Certifications: PMP, PgMP, or CAPM certification is required.
- Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one (TS/SCI preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Jira, MS Project, and Agile tools (Confluence, etc.).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
