Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of government IT projects, ensuring alignment with federal and state regulations.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Communicate complex technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders and government officials.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for project uncertainties.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including developers, compliance officers, and client representatives.
- Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with audit standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management within the government or public sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong understanding of ITIL framework and government contracting processes.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a favorable background check and security clearance (if required).
