Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, cost, and resource management.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Ensure strict compliance with state government regulations, procurement policies, and IT standards.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to maintain project momentum.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and status reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a government or large-scale enterprise environment.
- Proven experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state procurement laws and IT governance frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to diverse audiences.
- PMP or CAPM certification is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Jira, or similar project management software.
