Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Manage cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure seamless collaboration and execution.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
- Prepare detailed project plans, status reports, and executive summaries for senior leadership.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, agency policies, and security protocols.
- Mentor junior project managers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, preferably within the government or public sector.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required; PgMP is preferred.
- Strong expertise in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
