Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of state government IT projects from initiation to closure.
- Manage cross-functional teams of developers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Ensure all projects comply with state regulations, procurement laws, and security standards.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk assessments, and status reports for executive leadership.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and communicate project milestones effectively.
- Mentor junior project managers and team members to foster a high-performance culture.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Project Management or Program Management.
- Proven experience working within the public sector or government environment is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- PMP, PgMP, or CAPM certification is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
