Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of IT projects, from conception to deployment, ensuring alignment with city-wide strategic goals.
- Manage cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and stakeholders, to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
- Oversee budget management, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies for large-scale government contracts.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and cybersecurity standards.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication, providing clear updates and managing expectations for executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management, specifically within the government or public sector.
- Proven expertise in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong technical background in IT infrastructure, cloud services, or data systems.
- PMP or CAPM certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
