Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain secure federal IT infrastructure and cloud environments.
- Ensure system compliance with NIST, FISMA, and other federal security standards.
- Lead technical troubleshooting and incident response for high-priority federal projects.
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability testing, and risk management analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior IT staff and contractors.
- Document technical procedures, system configurations, and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance (must be willing to obtain if not current).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in federal IT environments or government contracting.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance if required.
