Responsibilities
- Administer and secure complex IT environments for federal agencies, ensuring compliance with FISMA and NIST standards.
- Lead the planning, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, servers, and cloud resources.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to proactively identify security gaps.
- Provide high-level technical troubleshooting and consultation for stakeholders and program managers.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and security protocols.
- Mentor junior IT staff and foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT services, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior technical capacity.
- Active Top Secret/Secret Security Clearance is required for this role.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or SSCP.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
- Strong understanding of federal acquisition regulations and compliance frameworks.
