Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain federal IT systems, including network infrastructure, hardware, and software applications.
- Ensure full compliance with FISMA, NIST, and other federal security regulations.
- Conduct system audits, vulnerability assessments, and implement necessary remediation strategies.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for complex government applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation initiatives within federal agencies.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and reports for stakeholders and compliance reviews.
- Mentor junior staff members and conduct technical training sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent military experience).
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (required for this role).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT environments or similar government contracting roles.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Proficiency in ITIL framework and incident management processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued Common Access Card (CAC).
