Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize enterprise-level Windows Server and Linux environments supporting 50,000+ users
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and maintain compliance with state/federal regulations
- Lead system migrations and upgrades while minimizing service disruptions
- Document infrastructure configurations and develop disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud integration projects
- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve technical issues
- Train junior administrators on best practices and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering enterprise Windows Server and Linux environments
- Active CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud services (AWS/Azure)
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and enterprise networking
- Ability to obtain Texas Department of Information Security certification within 6 months
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities
- Valid Texas driver's license (required for agency travel)
