Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level server infrastructure including virtualization platforms
- Manage cloud services (AWS/Azure) and hybrid environments with 99.9% uptime SLA
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives including vulnerability assessments and incident response
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell/Python for system administration tasks
- Provide tier-3 technical support and mentor junior IT staff
- Coordinate system migrations and disaster recovery testing
- Ensure compliance with state and federal IT security standards (NIST, FISMA)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5+ years experience accepted)
- 3+ years administering Windows Server and Linux environments
- Certification in CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity credential
- Experience with VMware, Active Directory, and enterprise backup solutions
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to document complex processes
