Responsibilities
- System Management: Oversee the daily operations, performance tuning, and maintenance of enterprise-level IT systems and databases.
- Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in the design, development, and implementation of complex IT solutions and software upgrades.
- Technical Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for technical troubleshooting, resolving complex system issues to minimize downtime.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all systems comply with state and federal security standards, data privacy regulations (GDPR/CCPA), and accessibility guidelines.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, run books, and requirements specifications.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors to manage contracts, oversee software licenses, and ensure service level agreements are met.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Systems Analysis or IT Project Management within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, or similar programming languages; experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and enterprise ERPs is highly desirable.
- Certifications: PMP, ITIL, or CISSP certification is a strong plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
