Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory impacts using quantitative/qualitative methodologies
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and implementation roadmaps for state agencies
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with legislators, community leaders, and industry partners
- Monitor federal policy changes and assess implications for Georgia's governance framework
- Manage research projects using statistical software and data visualization tools
- Mentor junior analysts and oversee policy review processes
- Present findings to executive leadership and legislative committees
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis (SPSS, R, or Python)
- Demonstrated success in developing actionable policy recommendations
- Deep knowledge of Georgia's legislative process and administrative regulations
- Exceptional written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred
