Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze legislative proposals related to clean energy and environmental protection
- Lead stakeholder engagement with industry partners, nonprofits, and community organizations
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and implementation roadmaps for cabinet-level review
- Monitor federal regulatory changes and assess impacts on Massachusetts initiatives
- Manage inter-agency task forces focused on climate equity and resilience
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to inform policy decisions
- Present findings to legislative committees and public forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Environmental Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or nonprofit sector
- Expertise in Massachusetts regulatory frameworks and legislative processes
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Strong grant-writing and budget development experience
- Ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license
- Citizenship or permanent residency requirement
