Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy issues and draft actionable recommendations for legislative/executive leadership
- Lead cross-agency initiatives on economic equity and sustainable development projects
- Manage stakeholder engagement with business leaders, nonprofits, and community groups
- Prepare comprehensive reports and data visualizations for legislative committees
- Monitor federal policy trends and identify funding opportunities
- Coordinate interdepartmental task forces on climate adaptation strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or nonprofit sector
- Expertise in quantitative data analysis and economic modeling tools
- Proven track record in stakeholder management and public speaking
- Knowledge of Washington State legislative processes and budget cycles
- Experience with GIS mapping and spatial analysis for policy development
