Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and legislative recommendations for state agencies
- Analyze legislative impacts and regulatory compliance requirements
- Lead cross-functional task forces on public sector modernization
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research on emerging policy trends
- Present findings to executive leadership and legislative committees
- Manage stakeholder engagement with public and private sector partners
- Monitor federal policy changes affecting Ohio's governance structure
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Expertise in quantitative research methodologies and statistical analysis
- Proficient with policy simulation tools (e.g., R, Stata, or SPSS)
- Demonstrated success in drafting legislative proposals and regulatory language
- Ohio residency required with ability to obtain security clearance
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification preferred
