Responsibilities
- Develop evidence-based health policy recommendations through quantitative/qualitative research
- Analyze legislative impacts and draft policy briefs for executive leadership
- Coordinate cross-agency initiatives on public health priorities
- Present findings to legislative committees and stakeholder groups
- Monitor federal/state regulatory changes and ensure compliance
- Manage policy implementation projects with measurable outcomes
- Mentor junior analysts on research methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years policy analysis experience in government or healthcare
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, or Stata)
- Demonstrated success in health policy development and evaluation
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Experience with Colorado state government processes preferred
- Project management certification or equivalent experience
- Valid Colorado driver's license may be required
