Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive policy recommendations through quantitative/qualitative research
- Analyze legislative impacts and draft actionable briefs for executive leadership
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to implement statewide programs
- Present findings to stakeholders and conduct public policy forums
- Monitor emerging trends and evaluate program effectiveness metrics
- Manage grant compliance reporting and fiscal accountability
- Mentor junior analysts and optimize policy workflows
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years progressive policy analysis experience in government
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Texas legislative process expertise and stakeholder management skills
- Superior written/verbal communication with portfolio of published work
- Valid Texas driver's license and ability to travel statewide
- PHR/SPHR certification or equivalent public sector credentials
- Proficiency in federal/state compliance frameworks (FAR, TAC)
