Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy issues and draft evidence-based recommendations for state legislation
- Collaborate with legislators, agencies, and stakeholders to develop actionable solutions
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research and data-driven impact assessments
- Present findings through clear reports, briefings, and public testimony
- Monitor federal policies and identify implications for North Carolina

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or Python)
- Exceptional written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Deep knowledge of North Carolina's legislative processes
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
